Questions and Answers to Project Documents — Business Opportunities
PROJECT:  2018 Airfield Pavement Evaluation
NUMBER:  201839467-00

Current as of:  5/22/2018

Question Number  1:   Will firms that did not attend the Pre-Proposal Conference still be considered?
Answer:   Yes, firms that did not attend the pre-proposal conference may still submit proposals.
Question Number  2:   Can Microsoft Project be used for scheduling instead of Primavera?
Answer:   No. DEN Project Controls requires Primavera for scheduling of all DEN projects.
Question Number  3:   Do we need to list the dollar amount and percentage amount for each W/MBE team member on the letter of intent form, or is the % sufficient?  Note that project costs in dollar terms are not part of the submittal at this time.
Answer:   Because the City is not requiring a lump sum or maximum fee amount as part of this submittal, DSBO will use only the percentage amount of participation stated for each MBE or WBE listed. A LOI must be signed by each MBE or WBE listed, including a MBE or WBE prime. Please make sure these MBEs or WBEs are certified in the NAICS code(s) and scope(s) of work identified on the Letter of Intent (LOI). Please reference Section 1-8 Minority Business Enterprise and Women Business Enterprise Participation of RFP 201839467.
Question Number  4:   DIA has not specified the desired number of pavement cores or laboratory tests that are desired under this project which makes determining the exact percentage allocated to each W/MBE team member difficult to determine at this time. Provided the overall project target of 15% is met, will the prime consultant have the flexibility to modify the % shown in the LOI for each W/MBE team member based on the finalized coring plan?
Answer:   Whatever percentage is listed on the LOI, is the percentage that must be obtained. In the event you are unable to meet the goal, DSBO will help you maximize your capacity at that time. Please reference Section 1-8 Minority Business Enterprise and Women Business Enterprise Participation of RFP 201839467.
