REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE

PENA BOULEVARD COMMUTER RAIL TRAIN SIGNATURE BRIDGE

Denver, Colorado June 7, 2010

Description: The Department of Aviation for the City and County of Denver is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for the purposes of selecting a firm(s) to complete the construction documents for the design of the Pena Boulevard Commuter Rail Train Signature Bridge.

Documents Available: Request for Qualifications (RFQ) documents will be available on the DIA Contract Procurement website at http://business.flydenver.com/bizops/rfq.asp beginning June 7, 2010.

SOQs Due: SOQs in response to the RFQ will be due no later than 2:00 PM, LOCAL TIME, JULY 1, 2010 and must be submitted to Nathan Jones, Technical Services Office, Room 8810, Denver International Airport, 8500 Pena Blvd., Denver, CO 80249.

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation: Department of Transportation (DOT) 49 CFR Part 26 ("Part 26") applies to this Project and will be incorporated into any agreement entered into as part of this selection process. It is the policy of DOT and the City and County of Denver to ensure non-discrimination in the award and administration of DOT-assisted contracts. Proposers must fully comply with the DBE requirements of Part 26 in proposing and performing hereunder.

The Director of the Mayor's Office of Contract Compliance is authorized to establish project goals for expenditures on concession contracts let by the City and County of Denver. The specific goal for this project is 12% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE).
