REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

Denver, Colorado December 15, 2014

The Department of Aviation, City and county of Denver, has issued a Request for Qualifications for the construction project named above. Complete contract documents, including specifications, are available on the DIA Contract Procurement website at http://business.flydenver.com/bizops/RFQ.asp beginning December 16, 2014.

STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS (SOQs) will be received no later than 2:00 P.M., local time, January 21, 2015 and delivered to Amy Kuchno, Room 8810, Airport Office Building (AOB), Denver International Airport, 8500 Peņa Blvd., Denver, CO 80249-6340 and accessed by the Concourse A Walking Bridge. Respondents should submit six (6) SOQs in Adobe format on separate media (i.e. USB Flash Drive, Compact Disc, etc.) indicating Contract number, Contract name and respondents organization.

A PRE-SOQ CONFERENCE will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 19, 2014, in the triple wide trailer, located within the DIA South Campus at 7128 North Trussville Street, Unit A, Denver, CO 80249 (F.K.A. 27301 E. 71st Ave, Unit #2).

GENERAL STATEMENT OF WORK: The project consists of apron replacement/ repair and

drainage improvements of gate pavement around Concourses B and C. The purpose of this project is to replace deteriorating pavement mitigate drainage issues and ponding that have been an issue around Concourses B and C both on the apron and also allowing water into the Concourse basements. While replacing or repairing the apron paving, there will also be utility work, jet bridge work, and drainage improvements made at many gates.

This Contract for Construction Manager / General Contractor (CM/GC) services will be for 3 years and will involve ROCIP participation. This program will be a multi-year program and this RFQ is for the first three years of the program through 2017. As the design is completed the CM/GC will provide a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the work. Upon acceptance of the GMP by DIA, the CM/GC will construct the project according to the detailed design documents and the provisions of the Contract.

MINORITY/WOMEN BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PARTICIPATION: Pursuant to Article III, Division 1 and 3 of Chapter 28 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code, the Project goal of 19% M/WBE must be met with certified participants, or through the demonstration of a sufficient good faith effort. For compliance with good faith requirements, the M/WBE percentage solicitation level required for this project is 100%.

MISCELLANEOUS: As its best interests may appear, the City and County of Denver reserves the right to reject any or all SOQs and to waive informalities in proposals.
