NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR PROPOSALS

Denver, Colorado October 15, 2014

The Department of Aviation, City and county of Denver, has issued an Invitation for Proposals for the construction project named above. Complete contract documents, including specifications, are available on the DIA Contract Procurement website at http://business.flydenver.com/bizops/bids.asp beginning October 17, 2014.

SEALED PROPOSALS will be received no later than 2:00 P.M., Local Time, November 19, 2014 and delivered to Letitia Harper, Room 8810, Airport Office Building (AOB), Denver International Airport, 8500 Peņa Blvd., Denver, CO 80249-6340 and accessed by the Concourse A Walking Bridge. Respondents should submit the Cost Proposal and six (6) proposals in Adobe format on separate media (i.e. USB Flash Drive, Compact Disc, etc.) indicating Contract number, Contract name and respondents organization.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF WORK: The project consists of an ON-CALL 2015-16 PARKING GARAGE REPAIRS contract for Construction Services for the Repairs and Moisture Protection of the existing parking structures and terminal roadways at DIA. Contractor shall provide licensed and permitted structural concrete repairs. Contractor shall provide demonstrated experience using latex modified concrete for structural repairs. Contractor shall provide demonstrated experience in structural expansion joint installations, specialty concrete coating applications and demonstrated experience in sealants for concrete structures. Work shall focus on the level 5 parking decks and the pedestrian ramps from the garages to the level 5 terminal roadways. Work may also include repairs to the any or all garage levels and all terminal roadways, approach and exit bridges and any DIA structure of roadway as required. There are also plumbing and drain repairs and traffic markings required in the work. Projects will be incorporated into the contract through task orders. Performance time will be established per task for within a two and one-half (2.5) year period, or until the maximum authorized contract amount is reached, whichever occurs first.

PREQUALIFICATION: Each proposer must be pre-qualified in the category of 2(g) Buildings: Structural Rehabilitation General at the $6,000,000.00 level, in accordance with the City's Rules and Regulations Governing Prequalification of Contractors. Each proposer must have submitted a prequalification application a minimum of ten (10) calendar days prior to the bid opening date. MINORITY/WOMEN BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PARTICIPATION: Pursuant to Article III, Division 1 and 3 of Chapter 28 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code, the Project goal of 21% M/WBE must be met with certified participants, or through the demonstration of a sufficient good faith effort. For compliance with good faith requirements, the M/WBE percentage solicitation level required for this project is 100%.

MISCELLANEOUS: As its best interests may appear, the City and County of Denver reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities in proposals.
