RUNWAY 8-26 COMPLEX PAVEMENT REHABILITATION

AIRFIELD ENGINEERING SERVICES

Denver, Colorado April 18, 2016

Description: The Department of Aviation for the City and County of Denver is requesting proposals for the purposes of selecting a firm(s) to provide airfield engineering services for the runway complex rehabilitation project only. The scope of work will include studies, designs, contract documents, bidding services, construction administration, testing and reporting, scheduling and cost estimating, surveying, or other airfield engineering services as needed.

Documents Available: Request for Proposal (RFP) documents will be available on the DIA Contract Procurement website at http://business.flydenver.com/bizops/rfp.asp beginning April 18, 2016.

Proposals Due: Proposals in response to the RFP will be due no later than 2:00 PM, LOCAL TIME, May 12, 2016 and must be submitted to Letitia Harper, Business Management Services Office, Room 8810, Denver International Airport, 8500 Pena Blvd., Denver, CO 80249.

Pre-Proposal Conference: A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 1:00 PM, LOCAL TIME, April 26, 2016 in the triple wide trailer, located within the DIA South Campus at 7128 North Trussville Street, Unit A, Denver, CO 80249 (F.K.A. 27301 E. 71st Ave, Unit #2).

Minority Business Enterprise and Women Business Enterprise Participation: Professional design and construction services contracts made and entered into by the City and County of Denver are subject to Article III, Divisions 1 and 3 of Chapter 28 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code (D.R.M.C.), and all Minority Business Enterprise and Women Business Enterprise Utilization adopted by the Director of the Division of Small Business Opportunity (DSBO).

Article III, Divisions 1 and 3 of Chapter 28 of the D.R.M.C. directs the Director of DSBO to establish a project goal for expenditures on professional design and construction services work contracted by the City and County of Denver. The specific goal for this project is 20% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE) participation.
