REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

On-Call Construction Auditor Services

Denver, Colorado July 11, 2016

Description: The Department of Aviation for the City and County of Denver is requesting proposals for the purposes of selecting a firm(s) to provide On-Call construction audit services of construction and professional service contracts. Services may include: project management consulting, construction process reviews, contract and subcontract audits, audits of contractors and subcontractors, claims analysis and resolution. All tasks will be completed by individual task order.

Documents Available: Request for Proposal (RFP) documents will be available on the DIA Contract Procurement website at http://business.flydenver.com/bizops/rfp.asp beginning July 11, 2016.

Proposals Due: Proposals in response to the RFP will be due no later than 2:00 PM, LOCAL TIME, Wednesday, August 10, 2016 and must be submitted to Gerard Stafford, Business Management Services Office, Room 8810, Denver International Airport, 8500 Pena Blvd., Denver, CO 80249.

Pre-Proposal Conference: A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 10 AM, Friday, July 22, 2016 in the City Conference Room, which is located on Level 6 West of the Jeppesen Terminal building in the northwest corner of the inner core at Denver International Airport, 8400 Peña Blvd., Denver, Colorado 80249.

Minority Business Enterprise and Women Business Enterprise Participation: It has been determined that this project is not subject to Article III, Divisions 1 and 3 of Chapter 28 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code, (D.R.M.C.) and the Minority Business Enterprise and Women Business Enterprise Program’s Rules and Regulations adopted by the Director of the Division of Small Business Opportunity (DSBO) and therefore, will not have M/WBE goals assigned; however, the City encourages the use of qualified small business concerns doing business that are owned and controlled by, economically or socially disadvantaged individuals.

The City and County of Denver encourages, but does not require, participation of independent partnerships with SBEs, MBEs, WBEs, and other business enterprises in supply chain activities, prime/subcontractor partnerships, and joint ventures for all contracts and purchase orders. Failure to participate or disclose this information will not impact the award of the contract or purchase order. Voluntary disclosure of such independent partnerships to the City, if any, will be forwarded the DSBO for recording purposes only.

The Director of the Division of Small Business Opportunity urges all participants in City professional design and construction services projects to assist in achieving these goals.
