Description: The Department of Aviation for the City and County of Denver is requesting proposals for the purposes of selecting a firm(s) to provide a full-time provider to operate a baggage drop service to be located on level 1 of the train platform. The DEN Baggage delivery service will partner with our operating Airlines to provide complimentary bag check-in. Customers will check their bag(s) at the ticket counter located at DENís train platform and operator shall transfer bags via vehicle from train platform location to induction points at the main terminal. The hours of operation will be 6:00am-6:00pm and may vary to meet the needs of the traveling public. Bag drop cut-off time will be no less than ninety (90) minutes and no more than four (4) hours prior to scheduled departure time.

This operation may expand from the train platform to the DEN shuttle parking lots, Union Station located in Downtown Denver, and other locations in the future.

Proposals Due: Proposals in response to the RFP will be due no later than 2:00 PM, LOCAL TIME, September 19, 2016 and must be submitted to April Hannon, Business Management Services Office, Room 8810, Denver International Airport, 8500 Pena Blvd., Denver, CO 80249.

Pre-Proposal Conference: A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 10 AM, September 2, 2016 at the City Conference Room, located in the Jeppesen Main Terminal, Level 6, west inner core.

Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation: The project below has been reviewed by DSBO and it has been determined that it is not subject to 49 CFR, Part 23 and therefore will not have an ACDBE goal assigned. While the work performed under this contract is not subject to the federal regulation, the Director of the Division of Small Business Opportunity encourages all participants in City projects to seek independent partnerships with ACDBEs, and other business enterprises in supply chain activities, prime/subcontractor partnerships, and joint ventures for all contracts and purchase orders.
