Airline and Directory Sign Maintenance 2016
The Department of Aviation, City and County of Denver, has issued an Invitation for Bids for the construction project named above. Complete contract documents, including specifications, will be available on the DEN Contract Procurement website at:
http://business.flydenver.com/bizops/bids.asp by December 13, 2016.
SEALED BIDS will be due, and must be time stamped, no later than 2:00 PM, Friday, January 20, 2017 Local Time, delivered in the triple wide trailer, located within the DEN South Campus at 7128 North Trussville Street, Unit A, Denver, CO 80249 (F.K.A. 27301 E. 71st Ave, Unit #2). Immediately after receipt of the bids a public bid opening will commence. Any bids to be submitted more than two hours prior to Bid Opening must be submitted at the office of Business Management Services, attention Nathan Jones, Room 8810, Airport Office Building (AOB), Denver International Airport, 8500 Peña Blvd., Denver, CO 80249-6340.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF WORK
DEN is seeking a qualified firm to fabricate and install changes to existing signs on DEN roadways and throughout Terminal Complex on an on-call basis. The work required of the successful firm will be as follows: Fabricate and install new sign panels on any and all DEN roadway signs including but not limited to Overhead Roadway Signs and Post Mounted Roadside Signs; Update existing Directories by printing and installing new panels in the Terminal, the Concourses, and on the AGTS Train Cars; Modifying signs in the Terminal and Concourses including overhead signs, freestanding signs; Modifying Curbside Signs on Levels 4, 5, and 6 of the Terminal; Other sign fabrications, installations, and modifications as required by DEN. The contractor must have experience with similar size work which meets this project scope, schedule and commercial materials/fabrication.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 22, 2016, in the triple
wide trailer, located within the DEN South Campus at 7128 North Trussville Street, Unit A,
Denver, CO 80249 (F.K.A. 27301 E. 71st Ave, Unit #2). A site visit will/will not be conducted immediately following the Pre-Bid Conference.
Any questions must be submitted in writing by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, must have the words “Request for Clarification” and “Airline and Directory Sign Maintenance 2016, 201631714” in the email subject line, and must be received no later than ten (10) calendar days before the date and time set for receipt of Bids.
MINORITY/WOMEN BUSINESS ENTERPRISE GOAL: Pursuant to Article III, Division 1 and 3 of Chapter 28 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code, the Project goal of 5% M/WBE must be met with certified participants, or through the demonstration of a sufficient good faith effort. For compliance with good faith requirements, the M/WBE percentage solicitation level required for this project is 100%.
As its best interests may appear, the City and County of Denver reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in bids.
The work under the Contract is subject to minimum wage rates established by the City and County of Denver Career Service Board.
