The Department of Aviation, City and County of Denver (City), has issued an Invitation for Proposals for the Operations and Maintenance for project named above. Complete contract documents, including specifications, are available on the Denver International Airport (DEN) Contract Procurement website on or about November 07, 2017 at: http://business.flydenver.com/bizops/rfp.asp

SEALED PROPOSALS will be received no later than 2:00 P.M. MDT December 21, 2017 and delivered to the attention of Jessica Encinias, Contract Administrator, Airport Office Building (AOB), Room 8810 at Denver International Airport, 8500 Peña Boulevard, Denver, CO 80249-6340.

Proposer shall submit one (1) hard copy and seven (7) electronic versions on flash drives of its proposal in response to the Narrative Proposal Contents (Section IP-8) and all required Proposal Forms, indicating Contract number, Contract name and Proposer’s company name.

In addition, Proposer shall submit one (1) hard copy and one (1) electronic version on a flash drive of completed, unlocked and un-password protected Pricing in a separated sealed envelope (see IP-16).

A MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE is scheduled for 9:00 AM MDT November 21, 2017 in the City Conference Room Main Terminal 6th level, Denver International Airport, 8500 Peña Blvd., Denver, Colorado 80249. At this Conference City representatives will explain the opportunity and set out the City’s expectations. To ensure transparency, all questions must be submitted in writing by 2:00PM MDT November 28, 2017 and will be posted on the Contract Procurement webpage. City representatives will not answer any telephone inquiries about the RFP.

Following the mandatory pre-proposal conference is a GUIDED TOUR of the facilities where the work will be performed. Tour participants may be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which includes hard hat, vest, hearing protection, eye protection and close-toed shoes. Each Proposer is asked to pre-register and identify the individuals they want to participate in this tour. If participants are not already DEN badge holders, the participant must pre-register for the tour. All attendees are required to pre-register no later than 5:00 PM MDT on November 16, 2017 at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7HLLSMN

GENERAL STATEMENT OF WORK: The qualified contractor will have a staff of Electro-Mechanical Technicians and Site Management that are responsible for baggage jam clearing, control room operations, and all preventive and corrective maintenance of the Baggage Handling System (BHS) mechanical and electrical systems.

MISCELLANEOUS: As its best interests may appear, the City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities in proposals. The work under the Contract is subject to minimum wage rates established by the City and County of Denver Career Service Board.
