The Department of Aviation, City and County of Denver (City), has issued an Invitation for Proposals for the Airport Operations project named above. SEALED PROPOSALS will be received no later than 2:00 PM MDT May 17, 2019 and delivered to the attention of Jessica Encinias, Contract Administrator, Airport Office Building (AOB), Room 8810 at Denver International Airport, 8500 Peña Boulevard, Denver, CO 80249-6340.

Proposer shall submit one (1) hard copy and one (1) electronic version on a flash drive of its proposal in response to the Narrative Proposal Contents (Section IP-6) and all required Proposal Forms, indicating Contract number, Contract name and Proposer’s company name.

PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE will be held at 3:00 PM on April 30, 2019, in the Airport Office Building (AOB) 10th floor Conference Room. You must check in with the AOB receptionist and a staff member will escort you to the conference room. At this conference, City representatives will explain the opportunity and answer questions regarding this RFP, including any written questions submitted to the City prior to the conference.

To ensure transparency, all questions must be submitted in writing by 2:00 PM MDT May 10, 2019 and will be posted on the Contract Procurement webpage. City representatives will not answer any telephone inquiries about the RFP.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF WORK: The Department of Aviation for the City and County of Denver is requesting proposals for the purposes of selecting a company(ies) to provide professional engineering support on an on-call basis for the Automated Guideway Transit System (AGTS) or Airside concourse train system at DEN. All support work must be done in compliance with City, State, and Federal applicable automatic conveyance regulations and the standards of the American Society of Civil Engineers Standards part 21. Many projects will include support for system capital improvement such as, maintenance facilities, train storage, train relocation, and other expansion projects.

MISCELLANEOUS: As its best interests may appear, the City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities in proposals. The work under the Contract is subject to prevailing wage rates established by the City and County of Denver Career Service Board.
