REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

ON-CALL LANDSIDE ROADWAYS AND PARKING LOTS

CONTRACT NO. 201843278

Description: The Department of Aviation for the City and County of Denver is requesting proposals for the purposes of selecting up to two (2) companies to provide construction and maintenance of roadways and parking lots at Denver International Airport (DEN). The work includes, but is not limited to joint sealing, parking lot and roadway maintenance repairs and improvements on inbound and outbound Peņa Boulevard, DEN Service Roads and collector roads.

Documents Available: Request for Proposal (RFP) documents will be available on the DEN Contract Procurement website at http://business.flydenver.com/bizops/rfp.asp by October 31, 2018.

Proposals Due: Proposals in response to the RFP will be due no later than 2:00 PM LOCAL TIME, NOVEMBER 26, 2018, and must be submitted to Tony Deconinck, Business Management Services Office, Room 8810, Denver International Airport, 8500 Pena Blvd., Denver, CO 80249.

Pre-Proposal Conference: A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 9:00 AM, LOCAL TIME, November 6, 2018, in the triple wide trailer, located within the DIA South Campus at 7128 North Trussville Street, Unit A, Denver, CO 80249 (F.K.A. 27301 E. 71st Ave, Unit #2).

Prequalification: Each Proposer must be pre-qualified in the category of 1.A. General Civil OR 1.F.(2) Concrete at the $6,000,000.00 level, in accordance with the City's Rules and Regulations Governing Prequalification of Contractors. Each proposer must have submitted a prequalification application a minimum of ten (10) calendar days prior to the proposal receipt date. Applications must be submitted to the Department of Public Works, Prequalification Section, 201 West Colfax Avenue, Department 506, Denver, Colorado 80202.

Minority Business Enterprise/Women Business Enterprise Participation: Pursuant to Article III, Division 1 and 3 of Chapter 28 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code, the Project goal of 15% M/WBE must be met with certified participants, or through the demonstration of a sufficient good faith effort. For compliance with good faith requirements, the M/WBE percentage solicitation level required for this project is 100%.

Miscellaneous: As its best interests may appear, the City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities in proposals. The work under the Contract is subject to minimum wage rates established by the City and County of Denver Career Service Board.
