Description: The Department of Aviation for the City and County of Denver is requesting proposals for the purposes of selecting a company to provide design services of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems at Denver International Airport (DEN). The work may include, but is not limited to the design of lift station upgrades, Refrigerant 22 replacements, sump repairs, sewer repairs, passenger loading bridge pentagraphs, new lighting, mechanical equipment room rehabilitations, and switchgear arc flash hazard analysis and protective device coordination studies.. Specific scopes of work will be issued per task under these contracts. Services may include programming; testing; performing studies; providing preliminary designs; site inspections; construction documents, plans, specifications, preparation of cost estimates and construction administration for various mechanical and electrical systems additions, improvements and modifications.

Documents Available: Request for Proposal (RFP) documents will be available on the DEN Contract Procurement website at http://business.flydenver.com/bizops/rfp.asp by May 24, 2019.

Proposals Due: Proposals in response to the RFP will be due no later than 2:00 PM LOCAL TIME, JUNE 25, 2019, and must be submitted to Tony Deconinck, Business Management Services Office, Room 8810, Denver International Airport, 8500 Pena Blvd., Denver, CO 80249.

Pre-Proposal Conference: A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 9:00 AM LOCAL TIME, June 6, 2019, at the DEN South Campus at 7128 North Trussville Street, Unit A, Denver, CO 80249 (F.K.A. 27301 E. 71st Ave, Unit #2).

Minority Business Enterprise and Women Business Enterprise Participation: The project goal of 30% MWBE must be met with certified participants as set forth in Section 28-65, D.R.M.C. or through the demonstration of a sufficient good faith effort under Section 28-62 D.R.M.C. For compliance with good faith requirements under Section 28-62(b), the M/WBE percentage solicitation level required for this project is 100%.
