NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Denver, Colorado August 26, 2019

The Department of Aviation, City and County of Denver (City), has issued an Invitation for Proposals for the Airport Operation project named above. Complete contract documents, including specifications, are available on the Denver International Airport (DEN) Contract Procurement website on or about August 26, 2019 at: http://business.flydenver.com/bizops/rfp.asp

SEALED PROPOSALS will be received no later than 2:00 PM MDT September 27, 2019 and delivered to the attention of Jessica Encinias, Contract Administrator, Airport Office Building (AOB), Room 8810 at Denver International Airport, 8500 Peña Boulevard, Denver, CO 80249-6340.

Proposer shall submit one (1) hard copy and one (1) electronic copy (on flash drive) of its proposal in response to the Narrative Proposal Contents (Section IP-6) and all required Proposal Forms, indicating Contract number, Contract name and Proposer’s company name.

PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE will be held at 2:00 PM on September 04, 2019, in the in the Airport Office Building (AOB) 10th floor Conference Room. You must check in with the AOB receptionist and a staff member will escort you to the conference room. At this conference, City representatives will explain the opportunity and answer questions regarding this RFP, including any written questions submitted to the City prior to the conference.

To ensure transparency, all questions must be submitted in writing by 2:00 PM MDT September 13, 2019 and will be posted on the Contract Procurement webpage. City representatives will not answer any telephone inquiries about the RFP.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF WORK: The Department of Aviation for the City and County of Denver is requesting proposals from entities that provide security checkpoint queue management services, as well as security bins for the screening checkpoints at Denver International Airport.

MINORITY/WOMEN BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PARTICIPATION: Pursuant to Article III, Division 1 and 3 of Chapter 28 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code, the Project goal of 8% M/WBE must be met with certified participants, or through the demonstration of a sufficient good faith effort. For compliance with good faith requirements, the M/WBE percentage solicitation level required for this project is 100%.

MISCELLANEOUS: As its best interests may appear, the City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities in proposals.
