WAYFINDING SIGNAGE MAINTENANCE

CONTRACT NO. 202053323

Description: The Department of Aviation for the City is requesting bids for the purposes of selecting a firm(s) to provide sign fabrication and installation and to be on-call to provide additions to, deletions from, or changes to the wayfinding signage system at Denver International Airport (DEN). Work tasks may include exterior signs such as overhead roadway signs, interior signs such as airline lists, wayfinding directions, room signs, directories, etc.

Documents Available: Request for Bids (RFB) documents will be available on the DEN Contract Procurement website at http://business.flydenver.com/bizops/rfp.asp by March 13, 2020.

Bids Due: Bids in response to the RFB will be due no later than 2:00 PM LOCAL TIME, APRIL 27, 2020, and must be submitted to Paul Gilchrist, Business Management Services Office, Room 8810, Denver International Airport, 8500 Pena Blvd., Denver, CO 80249.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference: A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 1:30 PM Denver Time on March 19, 2020, in the City Conference Room, located on the 6th floor of the Jeppesen Terminal at Denver International Airport, 8500 Pena Boulevard, Denver, CO 80249. At this conference, DEN representatives will explain the opportunity and answer questions regarding this RFB.

Minority and Woman Business Enterprise Participation: Construction, reconstruction and remodeling contracts made and entered into by the City and County of Denver are subject to Article III, Divisions 1 and 3 of Chapter 28 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code, (Sections 28-31 to 28-36 and 28-52 to 28-90 D.R.M.C) and all Minority and Woman Business Enterprise and Equal Employment Opportunity Rules and Regulations adopted by the Director of the Division of Small Business Opportunity.

Article III, Division 3 of Chapter 28 of the D.R.M.C. directs the Director of the Division of Small Business Opportunity to establish a project goal for expenditures on construction, reconstruction, and remodeling work contracted by the City and County of Denver.

The specific goal for this project is: 4% Minority and Woman Business Enterprise (MWBE) Participation

Project goals must be met with certified participants as set forth in Section 28-60, D.R.M.C. or through the demonstration of a sufficient good faith effort under Section 28-62 D.R.M.C. For compliance with good faith requirements under Section 28-62(b), the MWBE percentage solicitation level required for this project is 100%.

The Director of the Division of Small Business Opportunity urges all participants in City construction, reconstruction and remodeling projects to assist in achieving these goals.
