Over the next few years, DIA
plans to develop the area directly south of Jeppesen Terminal. This collection
of coordinated projects, which we are calling the “South Terminal Redevelopment
Program” will include an initial phase of a new Westin hotel, the DIA
FasTracks station, a plaza above the station connecting all the building
elements, enabling projects (to include utility and roadwork), as well
as the design for the FasTracks bridge over Peña Boulevard.
Subsequent
projects which are being included in the overall program concept are
potential modifications to the Terminal Great Hall, as well as future
parking. These projects are included in the conceptual design to assure
right sizing and placement, due to the three-dimensional interface of
all the elements. |
