South Terminal Redevelopment Program — Business Opportunities South Terminal Redevelopment Program

  Program Overview

The South Terminal Redevelopment Program is made up of independent yet physically integrated projects, which include the construction of a planned 500-room Westin hotel and conference center, an RTD FasTracks commuter rail station and improvements to the existing concourse baggage and train systems. In addition, the program includes an open-air plaza, complete with new concessions and leasable space, which connects the development to the existing Jeppesen Terminal. The South Terminal Redevelopment Program is expected to create nearly 1,000 jobs, will generate approximately $2 million in annual tax revenues for the City’s General Fund and is scheduled for completion by 2016.
