To acquire an airport ID badge, an
applicant begins by completing the necessary paperwork (a fingerprinting and
badge application) and schedules an appointment with the
Airport Security Office.
The Fingerprinting
and Badge Application (see sample
form) must be presented with two valid forms
of identification:
- one must be an approved government-issued photo ID
- individuals requesting an airport ID badge must provide proof of citizenship
(i.e., original state-issued birth certificate or legal residency with work
authorization)
All information regarding the individual’s name,
age, gender, and other vital statistics on both forms of identification
must be consistent and verifiable.
