Nearly 30,000 people work at Denver International Airport, making it one of the largest job generators in the state of Colorado. The airport is managed by the City of Denver and along with city jobs employment opportunities can be found with the airlines, security companies, service providers (such as rental car companies and concesionnaires) and more.

The Denver Division of Workforce Development provides employment assistance for positions within the DIA community. Weekly job postings for airport opportunities in concessions, rental car facilities and more are available by visiting the Division's Web site or by calling the Denver Workforce Center at DIA, (303) 342-2590.
The City of Denver's Career Service Authority (CSA) hires for the Department of Aviation which manages DIA and employs over 900 people. Employment opportunities at the airport and other city agencies can be found online at the Authority's Web site.
Denver International Airport also sponsors three airport internship programs in the areas of legal services, engineering and airport security.
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is responsible for security relating to civil aviation and is the lead agency for security at airports.
