Conducting business at DEN can be a vastly different experience than a traditional environment. You should recognize and be prepared for the range of commitments you will soon need to handle. These include:
Insurance and bonding: Anticipate insurance requirements to be higher at DEN with equipment at high risk.
Badging: All employees will undergo a background and screening process at a cost to the Contractor. Badging is required for all projects at DEN. The process could take up to 30 days or more.
Prevailing Wage: Know your labor rates and understand what labor classification can perform certain work duties as defined by standards set by regulatory agencies for each specified scope of work.
Required Systems: Textura, a payment and invoice system used by DEN, provides visibility and accountability. B2G, meanwhile, is primarily used for reporting and compliance for our small business program.
Staging and materials handling: Material delivery will have special processes and procedures to be cleared through secure areas.
Hours of Operations: DEN is a 24-hour, 7 days a week, 365 days a year operation. Flexibility with hours of operation may be required in order to best serve the traveling public.
